This privacy policy ("Policy") describes how Personally Identifiable Information you voluntarily provide, submit to us, or authorize to be released through your use of dailycart.com and the services provided thereon may be used by Adknowledge, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Adknowledge", "us", "we", or "our"). "Personally Identifiable Information" means information that personally identifies you such as your name, postal address, email address, telephone number, and credit card information. This Policy does not apply to the practices of entities that Adknowledge does not own or control or to people that Adknowledge does not employ or manage. Adknowledge retains its right to modify this Policy from time to time by re-publishing it on the Internet; please check back for updates, as reflected in the "Effective as of" date above. Further, Adknowledge retains its right to enter into new or different lines of business with consumers and if and to the extent it does so, may display a different Privacy Policy to the consumer for such lines of business.

1. Collection of Information.

    1.1 Personally Identifiable Information that we Collect. Adknowledge collects Personally Identifiable Information from you when you provide it to Adknowledge so that you may use dailycart.com and the services offered thereon (for example, when creating an account, when subscribing to daily offers, and when purchasing a voucher) and when you otherwise voluntarily provide it to Adknowledge (for example, when sending us an email or when you provide optional information that we may request). Certain Personally Identifiable Information is required to use the services offered at dailycart.com and for certain services, such as purchase of a voucher, Adknowledge requires, for example, your credit card information. If you do not provide us with any such required information, you will not be able to use our services or use of our services will be limited.

    1.2 Vendor List Information. Adknowledge may obtain information about you after you provide information to a third party and you permit that party (the "Seller") to share the information, which Adknowledge subsequently purchases, licenses, or otherwise lawfully acquires. Such information may include, but is not limited to, Personally Identifiable Information, zip code, gender, salary range, education, marital status, occupation, industry of employment, personal and online interests, and other information which you provided to the Seller (together, "Vendor List Information"). When acquiring Vendor List Information, Adknowledge requires assurances from the Seller that the Seller has a right to transfer the Vendor List Information to Adknowledge and that Adknowledge may lawfully use the Vendor List Information to transmit offers from advertisers. We may combine Vendor List Information with Personally Identifiable Information that we have collected from you.

    1.3 User Behaviors Collected with Cookies, Web Beacons, and Other Information. Adknowledge uses cookie and web beacon technology to associate certain Internet-related information about you, such as your Internet Protocol address and what Web browser you are using, with certain of your online behaviors, such as offers to which you sign up for, purchases that you make, and opening or clicking on a particular online advertisement. Additionally, Adknowledge may use other new and evolving sources of information and information gathering in the future (together, "Technology Information").

          (a) Cookies. A cookie is a small amount of data stored on the hard drive of your computer that allows Adknowledge to identify your IP address with corresponding information in Adknowledge's database. Adknowledge uses cookies in connection with the provision of our services and may use cookies to track individual responses or views of advertisements.           (b) Web Beacons. A web beacon is a common technology that uses a non-personally identifiable method to track the use of the Website pages of users visiting our Website. Web beacons enable Adknowledge to track certain Websites you visit or advertisements you view online. When you visit our Website, the web beacon can display an image on a web page that may transfer the non-personally identifiable behavior information about your use of our Website which helps us track these online behaviors for marketing purposes.

          (c) Where Technology Information is Collected. Technology Information is collected directly from Adknowledge advertisements or indirectly through advertisers that Adknowledge contracts with to display advertisements. 

    1.4 Outside Information. Adknowledge may lawfully receive information about you from third parties, such as information located in public databases.

    1.5 No Information Collected from Minors. MINORS UNDER THE AGE OF 18 SHOULD NOT PROVIDE ANY PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION TO ADKNOWLEDGE. If Adknowledge is notified it has Personally Identifiable Information about a minor under the age of 18, that information will be promptly deleted from our database.

2. Use of Information. 

    2.1 Use of Personally Identifiable Information. Adknowledge will not share your Personally Identifiable Information with third parties, except that Adknowledge may disclose your Personally Identifiable Information in the following circumstances:

          2.1.1 When you consent to such.

          2.1.2 To third-party service providers for purposes of assisting us to provide our services (for example, including but not limited to, processing credit card payments).

          2.1.3 To respond to subpoenas, court orders and other legal process as required by law.

          2.1.4 To investigate or prevent illegal activities, fraud, harm to person or property, or a violation of this Policy or any other Adknowledge terms or policies.

          2.1.5 In connection with a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets.

          2.1.6 To any parent or subsidiary company of Adknowledge.

          2.1.7 When you use our forward to a friend feature to tell a friend about our Website and/or our services, we will disclose your name to such contact. You may use this feature only if you have the prior consent of your friend to provide his or her name and email address to us.

          2.2 Summary Data. Adknowledge may collect, maintain, utilize, sell or transfer non-individualized information, such as summary or aggregated anonymous information about all persons or sub-groups of persons.

          2.3 Storage of Personally Identifiable Information. Adknowledge stores Personally Identifiable Information in a database on Adknowledge computers; the information is maintained and stored in encrypted form. In addition, Adknowledge's computers have security measures, such as a firewall, to protect against the loss, misuse, and alteration of the information under Adknowledge's control. Adknowledge also maintains physical and procedural safeguards to protect Personally Identifiable Information. Notwithstanding such measures, Adknowledge cannot guarantee that its security measures will prevent these computers from being illegally accessed and the Personally Identifiable Information on them stolen or altered.

3. Privacy Practices of Third Parties.

    Third party advertisers whose advertisements appear on the Adknowledge Website may use their own cookies, web beacons and other technology to collect information about you. Adknowledge does not control such advertisers' use of such technology and Adknowledge is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of such advertisers' Websites or other Websites that may be accessed through the Adknowledge Website. If you are directed to another Website from the Adknowledge Website, we encourage you to review the policies of such Website.

4. HOW YOU MAY EXERCISE YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND UNSUBSCRIBE; UPDATING PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION.

    4.1 You may receive administrative or promotional communications from us regarding your use of our services. You can opt-out of receiving communications from us by using this link: http://www.dailycart.com/user/unsubscribe, by emailing us at support@dailycart.com or by following the instructions provided by us in email communication.

    4.2 To prevent the display of a third party advertiser or Adknowledge advertising on a Website, for example, banner advertisements, do not visit the Website. To only prevent Adknowledge from tracking your behavior on a Website, turn off cookies from that Website and do not click on or interact with any advertisements.

    4.3 If any of your Personally Identifiable Information changes, you may update it in the account settings area of the dailycart.com Website.

    4.4 You may request that we delete your account with us and your Personally Identifiable Information by contacting us at the address set forth below or by emailing us at support@dailycart.com. Please be aware that we will not delete any Personally Identifiable Information if we are required to maintain such by law. Please also be aware that while we will delete your Personally Identifiable Information from our active databases, it may remain in our archived records.
